According to the State Grid Qinghai Provincial Electric Power Company on the 16th, the 330 kV Gongguan I Line has been successfully powered and the equipment is operating normally. At this point, the high span renovation work of 330 kV Gongguan I and II lines, which lasted for 53 days, has been successfully completed, effectively solving the hidden dangers of tree obstacles in the line passage, ensuring the safe operation of the transmission line, preventing fires, and assisting in ecological environment protection.
It is reported that the 330kV Gongguan I, II, and III lines are the most important power transmission channel for the Gongboxia Hydropower Station in the upper reaches of the Yellow River. The Yellow River hydropower station is directly delivered to the Guanting 750kV substation, the east gate of the Qinghai power grid, through this three circuit line channel. The Gongguan I, II, and III lines cross high mountains and valleys, residential villages, etc., with a complex geographical environment.

With the continuous improvement of the ecological environment, trees grow faster and taller, and the contradiction between trees and lines is becoming increasingly prominent. It is easy to cause line trips and fire accidents due to the close distance between wires and trees, posing serious safety hazards to the safe operation of the power grid and the ecological environment. In 2019, State Grid Qinghai Maintenance Company completed the relocation and renovation of the sections with prominent conflicts on the tree line of the Gongguan III line. Starting from late October this year, the company has built over 50 meters of towers across villages and forest sections of the Gongguan I and II lines, replacing the original 30 meter old tower. The length of the relocated line is 3.6 kilometers, and 13 new iron towers have been built.
It is reported that based on the experience of the emergency demolition project of the 330kV Caoding I Line in the early stage, the company has combined this work experience to form the “Typical Experience of Full Process Large Construction Operation Site Control”. After the promotion and application of this experience, it will promote the standardization and standardization of various work on large construction operation sites, improve risk control on the operation site, and fully prevent personal safety risks. The company transforms “experience” into “experience” and solidifies it into a book, laying a solid foundation for subsequent power grid operation and maintenance work.
The successful implementation of the high span transformation of the line has further created a safe, smooth, and high-quality line corridor, laying a solid foundation for ensuring the safe and stable operation of the Qinghai main power grid this winter and next spring. At the same time, it has also created a better electricity consumption environment for the local people’s production and life, contributing to the protection of the ecological environment.
